On March 27, the market rebounded, driven by purchases in key sectors such as auto, realty, power, and capital goods, as well as buying in heavyweight stocks. The Sensex closed up by 526.01 points, or 0.73 percent, at 72,996.31, while the Nifty rose by 119 points, or 0.54 percent, reaching 22,123.70.
US MARKETS
The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged by 477.75 points, or 1.22 percent, reaching 39,760.08. Similarly, the S&P 500 increased by 44.91 points, or 0.86 percent, to 5,248.49, while the Nasdaq Composite gained 83.82 points, or 0.51 percent, closing at 16,399.52.
ASIAN MARKETS
In early Thursday trading, Asian markets saw declines, with the Nikkei down by 1 percent and the Kospi slightly in the red.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
On Wednesday, oil prices remained stable following the release of official U.S. crude stockpile numbers and indications that the OPEC+ producer group is unlikely to alter its output policy at an upcoming technical meeting.

1. FIIs net BOUGHT Rs 2,170.32 crore worth shares on 28 March.
