Streetgains Research Credits

A transparent way to track research-service usage.

Research Credits are used to account for eligible research calls under your selected Streetgains subscription. Credits are debited only when the applicable credit-debit criterion for a research call is met.

The Research Credit debit mechanism is a service-accounting rule. It does not represent actual client trading profit/loss, investment performance or an accuracy claim.

Why Research Credits?

A service model built around measurable research usage

01

Defined Credit-Debit Rule

Research Credit consumption follows a predefined service rule instead of being debited simply because a research call was issued.

02

No Debit at Stop-Loss

Where the stated stop-loss is reached before the applicable credit-debit criterion, no Research Credit is debited for that research call.

03

Visible Credit Balance

Subscribers can track the available Research Credit balance and applicable usage through the Streetgains service interface.

04

Plan-Based Allocation

Research Credits are allocated according to the selected service category and subscription confirmation.

05

Separate Service Tenure

Research Credit balance and Service Tenure are tracked separately so subscribers can clearly understand both service usage and time period.

06

Research-Led Delivery

Research calls are issued when the research team identifies an applicable research view. A fixed number of research calls is not guaranteed.

Understanding Research Credits

What are Research Credits?

Research Credit

A Research Credit is a service unit used to track eligible research-call consumption under the selected Streetgains subscription.

  • The number of Research Credits depends on the selected subscription.
  • Credits are debited according to the applicable credit-debit criterion.
  • Credit usage is visible through the subscriber account/service interface.

What a Credit Debit Means

A credit debit records consumption of the research service under the applicable plan rule. It should not be interpreted as the subscriber's actual profit, return or trading outcome.

  • Actual execution prices may differ from research-call prices.
  • Trading quantity, slippage, brokerage, statutory charges and execution timing may vary.
  • Research Credit usage is not a representation of research accuracy.
How It Works

From research call to Research Credit usage

1

Research Call

An eligible research call is issued with the applicable research levels and service information.

2

Market Movement

The research call remains subject to market conditions and the levels stated in the research update.

3

Debit Criterion

If the applicable credit-debit criterion is met, the relevant Research Credit is consumed.

4

Balance Updated

The subscriber's Research Credit balance is updated in accordance with the service rule.

Illustrative Example

How the debit mechanism is applied

Illustration only
Illustrative research call: Buy XYZ at ₹1,000 | Target 1: ₹1,015 | Target 2: ₹1,035 | Stop-Loss: ₹990

If the applicable debit criterion is met

If Target 1 is the documented credit-debit criterion and the research call reaches ₹1,015, one Research Credit is debited.

If stop-loss is reached first

If the stated stop-loss at ₹990 is reached before the applicable credit-debit criterion, no Research Credit is debited for that research call.

This example explains only the Research Credit service mechanism. It is not a recommendation, performance representation or assurance of any trading outcome.

Service Tenure & Premium Features

Research Credit usage within the applicable service structure

Research Credit expiry

A Research Credit balance can be exhausted within the Service Tenure (maximum 12 months under the Premium service category).

Service Tenure

The applicable Service Tenure is stated in the subscription / Client Acceptance terms. Research Credit balance and Service Tenure are tracked separately.

Voluntary Research Call Hold

An approved Voluntary Research Call Hold pauses eligible research-call delivery and Research Credit consumption for the approved Hold Period. It is not cancellation or service closure.

Automatic Resumption

When the approved Hold Period ends, research-call delivery and applicable Research Credit consumption automatically resume for the subscription.

Voluntary Research Call Hold Rule: Each eligible 300-credit Premium subscription includes one Voluntary Research Call Hold for up to 15 consecutive calendar days. The facility cannot be split or carried forward. During the approved hold, eligible research-call delivery and Research Credit consumption pause; the Service Tenure continues as scheduled. Upon completion of the Hold Period, research-call delivery and applicable Research Credit consumption will automatically resume for the subscription.

Research services are governed by the Streetgains Research Policy
