On July 24, At close, the Sensex dropped 280.16 points (0.35%) to 80,148.88, while the Nifty fell 65.50 points (0.27%) to 24,413.50.
US MARKETS
The S&P 500 dropped 128.61 points (2.31%) to 5,427.13, the Nasdaq declined 654.94 points (3.64%) to 17,342.41, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 504.22 points (1.25%) to 39,853.87.
ASIAN MARKETS
Topix dropped 2.44 points (2%), Nikkei declined 2.81 points, Hang Seng fell 0.29 points, and Kospi decreased 1.90 points from the previous close.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas Crude dropped 0.31 points, while Brent Crude fell 0.34 points.s

1. FIIs net SOLD Rs 5,130 crore worth shares on 24 July.
2. DIIs net BOUGHT Rs 3,137 crore worth shares on 24 July.
