On July 22, The Sensex closed down 79.43 points (0.10%) at 80,525.22, while the Nifty fell 21.60 points (0.09%) to 24,509.30.
US MARKETS
The S&P 500 gained 59.41 points (1.08%) to reach 5,564.41, the Nasdaq Composite climbed 280.63 points (1.58%) to 18,007.57, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 127.91 points (0.32%) to 40,415.44.
ASIAN MARKETS
The Topix increased by 0.51%, Nikkei by 0.30%, Hang Seng decreased by 0.25%, Taiwan rose by 1.70%, and Kospi went up by 0.53% compared to the previous close.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas fell by 0.17%, while Brent Crude decreased by 0.10%.
FII/DII DATA:
1. FIIs net BOUGHT Rs 3,444 crore worth shares on 22 July.
2. DIIs net SOLD Rs 1,652 crore worth shares on 22 July.
