On July 19, The Sensex dropped 738.81 points (0.91%) to 80,604.65, while the Nifty fell 269.90 points (1.09%) to 24,530.90 at close.
US MARKETS
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 377.49 points (0.93%) to 40,287.53, the S&P 500 lost 39.59 points (0.71%) to 5,505, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 144.28 points (0.81%) to 17,726.94.
ASIAN MARKETS
The Topix decreased by 0.98%, the Nikkei fell by 0.90%, Taiwan declined by 0.90%, and the Kospi dropped by 1.04% from the previous close.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas crude rose by 0.45%, and Brent Crude increased by 0.46%.
FII/DII DATA:
1. FIIs net BOUGHT Rs 1,506 crore worth shares on 19 July.
2. DIIs net SOLD Rs 461 crore worth shares on 19 July.
