INDIAN MARKETS:

On September 18, At the close, the Sensex dropped by 131.43 points or 0.16% to 82,948.23, while the Nifty declined by 41.00 points or 0.16% to 25,377.50.

US MARKETS:

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) closed down 0.25% at 41,503.10, while the Nasdaq Composite (IXIC) dropped 0.31% to end at 17,573.30.

ASIAN MARKETS:

Topix increased 2.06%, Nikkei increased 2.02%, Taiwan increased by by 0.13% from the previous close.

OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas decreased 0.71%, while Brent Crude decreased by 0.67%.

KEY STOCKS TO WATCH:

NTPC's subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy, has filed draft papers with the capital markets regulator to raise Rs 10,000 crore through an IPO.

Macrotech Developers (Lodha) has signed SPAs with Ivanhoe Warehousing India Inc to acquire its stake in Digital Infrastructure Platform entities for Rs 239.56 crore. This will increase Macrotech’s stake in the entities to 70%, 66.67%, and 66.67%, respectively.

Ion Exchange (India) has secured contracts worth Rs 161.19 crore from Adani Power to provide water and environmental management solutions for Raipur & Raigarh Ultra Super Power Projects. Completion is expected in 18 months.

Nazara Technologies plans to raise Rs 900 crore via a preferential equity issue and has acquired an additional 19.35% stake in Absolute Sports, the parent company of Sportskeeda, for Rs 145.5 crore, increasing its ownership to 91%.

Pudumjee Paper Products has awarded a contract for a 15.4 MW solar power project to Prozeal Green Energy.

BL Kashyap and Sons received a Rs 221 crore order from SSS Realty, bringing its total order book to Rs 3,546 crore.
