On February 06, At the closing bell, the Sensex gained 454.67
points (0.63%) at 72,186.09, while the Nifty rose by 157.70 points (0.72%) to
reach 21,929.40.
US MARKETS
The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 141.24 points (0.37%) to reach 38,521.36. The S&P 500 rose by 11.42 points (0.23%) to 4,954.23, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 11.32 points (0.07%) to close at 15,609.00.
ASIAN MARKETS
On Wednesday morning, Asian markets saw positive momentum, with the Kospi surging nearly 2%, while the Nikkei traded slightly in positive territory.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
On Tuesday, Brent and US crude futures experienced an initial increase of over $1 per barrel. Brent crude settled at $78.59 per barrel, up 60 cents (0.77%), and US West Texas Intermediate crude settled at $73.51, rising by 53 cents (0.73%).
