On August 05, The Sensex fell by 2,222.55 points (2.74%) to 78,759.40, while the Nifty dropped 662.10 points (2.68%) to 24,055.60.
US MARKETS
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1,033.99 points (2.6%) to 38,703.27, the S&P 500 lost 160.23 points (3%) to 5,186.33, and the Nasdaq Composite fell 576.08 points (3.43%) to 16,200.08.
ASIAN MARKETS
The changes in the previous close are as follows: Topix
increased by 10.87%, Nikkei by 10.94%, Hang Seng by 0.98%, Taiwan by 3.76%, and
Kospi by 4.25%.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas increased by 1.86%, and Brent Crude rose by 1.63%.
FII/DII DATA:
1. FIIs net SOLD Rs 10,078 crore worth shares on 05 August.
2. DIIs net BOUGHT Rs 9,155 crore worth shares on 05 August.
