On August 02, The Sensex closed at 80,982, down 885.6 points (1.08%), while the Nifty ended at 24,717.70, down 293.20 points (1.17%).
US MARKETS
The Dow Jones dropped 610.71 points (1.51%) to 39,737.26, the S&P 500 fell 100.12 points (1.84%) to 5,346.56, and the Nasdaq Composite declined 417.98 points (2.43%) to 16,776.16.
ASIAN MARKETS
Topix fell by 6.48%, Nikkei by 5.69%, Taiwan by 5.19%, and
Kospi by 4.24%.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas fell by 0.41%, and Brent Crude decreased by 0.20%.
FII/DII DATA:
1. FIIs net SOLD Rs 3,310 crore worth shares on 02 August.
2. DIIs net BOUGHT Rs 2,965 crore worth shares on 02 August.
