On July 12, The Sensex rose 622.00 points (0.78%) to 80,519.34, while the Nifty gained 186.20 points (0.77%) to 24,502.20 at close.
US MARKETS
The S&P 500 climbed 0.55% to 5,615.35 points. The Nasdaq gained 0.63% to 18,398.45 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.62% to 40,000.90 points. For the week, the S&P 500 rose 0.9%, the Nasdaq added 0.2%, and the Dow increased by 1.6%.
ASIAN MARKETS
The Hang Seng fell by 0.50%, the Taiwan index increased by 0.25%, and the Kospi decreased by 0.18% from their previous close.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas fell by 0.48%, and Brent Crude decreased by 0.45%.
FII/DII DATA:
1. FIIs net BOUGHT Rs 4021 crore worth shares on 12 July.
2. DIIs net SOLD Rs 1651 crore worth shares on 12 July.
