On November 28, The BSE Sensex rose by 204 points, reaching 66,174, whereas the Nifty50 experienced a 95-point increase, reaching 19,890.

 

US MARKETS

Stocks increased on Tuesday, continuing the November rally, after remarks from a Federal Reserve official suggested the possibility that the central bank might not require additional interest rate hikes. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 83.51 points, or 0.24 percent, closing at 35,416.98. The S&P 500 edged up by 0.10 percent to 4,554.89, while the Nasdaq Composite, focused on technology stocks, gained 0.29 percent, concluding the session at 14,281.76.


ASIAN MARKETS

In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 continued its rise from Tuesday, increasing by 0.27% ahead of the country's October inflation data.

Japan's Nikkei 225 declined by 0.29% in early trading, while the Topix experienced a smaller drop of 0.14%. South Korea's Kospi retreated by 0.23% after reaching a two-month high on Tuesday, and the small-cap Kosdaq slightly decreased. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index futures stood at 17,327, indicating a weaker opening compared to the HSI's previous close at 17,354.14.

 

OIL & GAS UPDATES:

On Tuesday, oil prices surged over 2% amid expectations that the OPEC+ alliance might increase and prolong output reductions, citing concerns about weakened global demand. The upcoming online ministerial meeting on Thursday will involve discussions regarding production targets for 2024. Brent crude futures rose by $2.07, marking a 2.59% increase to reach $82.05 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures jumped by $2.03, a 2.71% rise to hit $76.89.
