INDIAN MARKETS:
On September 24, At close, the Sensex was down 14.57 points or 0.02 percent at 84,914.04, and the Nifty was up 1.40 points or 0.01 percent at 25,940.40.
US MARKETS:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 83.57 points, or 0.20%, to 42,208.22, the S&P 500 gained 14.36 points, or 0.25%, to 5,732.93 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 100.25 points, or 0.56%, to 18,074.52
ASIAN MARKETS:
Topix decreased by 0.15%, Nikkei increased by 0.10%, Kospi increased 0.17%, Taiwan decreased by 1.18% from the previous close.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
US West Texas decreased 0.05%, while Brent Crude decreased by 0.01%.
KEY STOCKS TO WATCH:
Multi Commodity Exchange of India has revised transaction fees, effective October 1, with Rs 2.1 per lakh of turnover for Futures contracts and Rs 41.8 per lakh of premium turnover for Options.
Delta Corp's board approved a demerger of its hospitality and real estate business. Delta Penland, a subsidiary, will handle this segment, with shareholders receiving one Delta Penland share for every Delta Corp share.
Mukta Arts signed an agreement with Zee Entertainment for the satellite and media rights of 37 films, increasing the value by 25%, effective August 2027.
Hindustan Foods is merging its soups, spices, and seasoning facility in Nashik.
