On November 12, in the Muhurat trading session, the BSE Sensex climbed 354.77 points, reaching 65,259 points, while the Nifty50 saw an increase of 100 points, closing at 19,525.55 points.

 

US MARKETS

On Sunday night, U.S. stock futures experienced a slight decline following Moody’s Investors Service's decision to revise the U.S. credit rating outlook from stable to negative. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures slipped by 54 points, representing a 0.1 percent decrease.

 

ASIAN MARKETS

At the opening, Japan's Nikkei 225 increased by 0.96 percent, and the Topix showed a gain of 0.50 percent. South Korea's Kospi rose by 0.58 percent, with the Kosdaq adding 0.50 percent. In Australia, the S&P/ASX 200 experienced a marginal decline of 0.27 percent. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index futures, standing at 17,372, indicated a higher opening compared to the HSI's close at 17,203.26.

 

In the U.S. on Friday, stocks rebounded, reclaiming losses from the previous session, as Treasury yields stabilized. The Dow Jones Industrial Average concluded 1.15 percent higher, while the S&P 500 finished with a 1.56 percent increase. The Nasdaq Composite recorded a notable gain of 2.05 percent, marking its most substantial daily improvement since May.

 

OIL & GAS UPDATES:

Brent futures registered a 4.9 percent decline over the week, while WTI experienced a 5.1 percent decrease since the previous week. These three weeks of declines represent the lengthiest weekly losing streak for both contracts since a four-week drop observed from mid-April to early May.

1. FIIs net SOLD Rs 261.81 crore worth shares on 10 Nov.

2. DIIs net BOUGHT Rs 822.4 crore worth shares on 10 Nov.
