On February 09, The Sensex ended 0.23% higher at 71,595.49, and the Nifty closed 0.3% up at 21,782.50.
US MARKETS
The S&P 500 surpassed 5,000 for the first time, with the Nasdaq briefly reaching above 16,000. The Dow Jones fell 0.14% to 38,671.69, while the S&P 500 rose 0.57% to 5,026.61, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 1.25% to 15,990.66.
ASIAN MARKETS
Several key Asia-Pacific stock markets, including Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea, were closed on Monday. Japan's Nikkei 225 started 0.1% higher, while the broader Topix saw a 0.2% dip at the opening.
