On April 18, The Sensex fell by 454.69 points, or 0.62%,
closing at 72,488.99, while the Nifty dropped by 152.05 points, or 0.69%,
ending at 21,995.85.
US MARKETS
The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 22.07 points, or 0.06%, reaching 37,775.38, while the S&P 500 declined by 11.09 points, or 0.22%, closing at 5,011.12. The Nasdaq Composite fell by 81.87 points, or 0.52%, ending at 15,601.50.
ASIAN MARKETS
Asian markets declined on Friday, following the losses on Wall Street and erasing gains made in the previous session. Japan's Nikkei 225 dropped by 2.7%, while the Kospi fell by 1.7%.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
Early on Friday, oil prices dipped as US jobs data hinted at prolonged higher interest rates and reduced tensions in the Middle East eased supply worries. The market largely overlooked sanctions on Venezuela and Iran. Brent futures dropped by 23 cents, or 0.3%, to $86.88 per barrel, while US crude slipped 25 cents to $82.48 per barrel, also down 0.3%.

2. DIIs net BOUGHT Rs 2,285.52 crore worth shares on 18 April.
