US MARKETS
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 2.43 points, or 0.01%, closing at 38,459.08. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 surged by 38.42 points, or 0.74%, reaching 5,199.06, and the Nasdaq Composite rose by 271.84 points, or 1.68%, closing at 16,442.20.
ASIAN MARKETS

OIL & GAS UPDATES:
Oil prices saw an early rise on Friday due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. Iran vowed retaliation following a suspected Israeli air strike on its embassy in Syria, raising concerns about potential disruptions to oil supply from the region.
