On May 07, the Sensex dropped 383 points (0.5%) to 73,511.85, and the Nifty 50 declined by 141 points (0.6%) to 22,301.50 at close.
US MARKETS
The Dow Jones increased by 0.08 percent, the S&P 500 climbed 0.13 percent, while the Nasdaq dipped by 0.1 percent. Disappointing US jobs data and sluggish GDP growth fuelled speculation about potential Fed rate cuts.
ASIAN MARKETS
Asian stocks are wavering following a sluggish US session. Some investors question the sustainability of the recent rally amidst economic uncertainties. Japan's stocks declined, whereas those in South Korea and Australia advanced. Hong Kong's futures suggest a neutral opening.
OIL & GAS UPDATES:
Brent remained near $83 per barrel, slightly above its 100-day moving average, while West Texas Intermediate stayed above $78.
